HALLOWEEN

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”

TRUNK or TREAT

Though I wasn’t feeling quite like myself today, my sister convinced me to join her and my nephews at a Trunk of Treat. My initial response was no. My mood was telling me that I didn’t want to be around people today. I was okay with being at home, but the more I thought on it, the more I thought about my son missing out.

It took everything for me to get motivated, but once we were out there, seeing everyone in their costumes, music, food… CANDY, and of course the smile on my child’s face… It was worth it.

We had a good time.

I am happy that I went.

I miss dressing up and pretending to be someone else, someone cool, even if it is just for a weekend, a night, a few hours…

My son is Blues Clues, so I’ve been listening to puppy barks all day.

CHARLIE BROWN

I loved ringing in the holidays with Charlie Brown. So tonight, that’s what we’re watching. “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” Pair that with popcorn, hot chocolate, and a few pieces of candy. (If my son is good and eats all his dinner, which he seems to be struggling with.)

If you haven’t seen it, SHAME ON YOU!

I’m just kidding. You should check it out. It’s cute.
